How you feel right now, affects the kind of output you give in every instance. Your aura. Your Energy. When you feel good then the kind of quality you give tends to be high-end.
When you feel horrible then what you produce is not normally your best work. This is why you can always know the end from the beginning depending on how you feel as you do it.
Not only that, but your intuition usually indicates it too. When we are confident and courageous about the kind of work we give, it shows.
When we are timid, anxious, and afraid of ourselves, the task at hand, or others, it shows too. So how do we ensure that we give our best each time?
That we create from an inward well of never-ending inspiration? That we become our best so much that genius comes to us as naturally as breathing?
At this moment, we are going to now focus on our energy fields. Our aim is to open up and align them just in case they are blocked or inactive.
What are these energy fields you may ask? We are a mass of energy in constant motion and the energy we give is the energy we receive in equal measure.
This energy is compartmentalized into different sections that correspond to various aspects of ourselves.
In the Eastern culture, these energy fields are called chakras and in this article, we are only going to focus on 7 of them though in an actual sense they are more.
Realigning Your Energy Fields
Let’s begin, shall we? I should mention that this is going to be a visualization exercise. As you read the words, you will picture them in your mind.
It will be a kind of meditation, but with your eyes open and you reading through the words. It is my intention that through these words, you get connected to your core, that you open up to the truth of who you really are.
Then have the courage to follow through with what your higher self reveals to you as you open up to deep peace, a sense of connection to every living being, to everything and everyone, and gently whisper words of gratitude to all that is.
First, please make sure that you are in your most comfortable position and that you can sit in this position for quite some time.
Also, make sure you are by yourself and that you will not be disturbed during this exercise. Make sure you are done attending to any pressing issues and you have some free time.
Ensure that you are in a quiet place, an environment that invites peace and relaxation. Before we begin, set an intention for yourself.
What do you wish to achieve from this exercise? Whisper this to yourself or say it through your mind and try to feel the words within you as you say them.
Let’s Warm-Up
Start by breathing. Breathe in slowly, then breathe out. Do this five more times and with each inhale and exhale, try to trail the air.
As it fills your lungs and then goes out as your chest deflates. Breathe in deeply now, silently counting 1,2,3,4 in your mind, and then hold your breath for 1,2,3,4 then slowly release for 1,2,3,4.
Do this three more times. You can stop reading at this point and read again then do it so that you get it right. When done, please return to your normal breathing.
If your mind drifts then remember to come back to your breathing as you get grounded again, gently with love.
When it drifts, do not feel judgmental towards yourself or even feel like you are doing it wrong or condemn yourself in any way.
What you are going through in case it drifts is very normal. Silently whisper to it gently and with love, “It’s okay. I see you.” And then gently release it through your in-breath and your out-breath.
Now, this is the part where your imagination comes to the fore. Imagine your whole body being bathed in white light.
Focus
Try to fill it as it lights up every inch of your body right from the tip of your head, down to your forehead, covering your ears, your eyes, your cheeks, your lips.
Your chin, your neck, your shoulders, down your arms to the tips of your fingers, your chest, down to your stomach and back.
To your hips, to your beautiful derriere, down to your knees, to the back of your knees, your calves, all the way down to your heels, and your whole foot right to the very tips of your toes and the spaces in between your toes and fingers.
Sit in this light for a moment. Notice how you feel. Listen to what your body is telling you. And then remember your intention and call it out again as you settle in this space.
If there is any hint of tension remaining, let it go as you breathe out. If you feel uncomfortable, shift your position and find whatever feels comfortable.
Your chakras are located in a line right from the base of your spine to the tip of your head. As I said, there are more chakras but for the purpose of this exercise, I am only going to focus on the first seven.
These chakras affect your psychological, physical, and spiritual wellbeing and hence they are very important.
When they are blocked they hinder us from experiencing perfect health, and deep within we feel unwholesome and detached or even just bathed in irritability and an air of negativity.
1st Chakra
We now move to your first chakra which is at the base of your spine. Each chakra is like a whirling ball of energy.
